The San Diego Zoo

To celebrate MLK day we took Mikah to the zoo for her first time. Thanks for the free tickets, dad! Janae and Brandon came along, too.
So much to look at! At one point, the bears and other four-legged animals became "dogs."

Wow-what chubby cheeks she has! Who did she get those from??

Yeah! The zoo! We get to be outside ALL day!

A new hat! We had to get a little souvenir.

Family pic in the aviary-her favorite spot of the day. I think she liked all the GREEN in there.

Jonathan explaining the animals to Mikah.

She was fascinated with the birds.

Lunch in the Park

On Saturday Kyrstie and I got together for lunch with the babies! It was great to hang out and catch up. Mikah liked Chase's shoes!

Food Fun

Mikah loves to feed herself now...so much so, that she doesn't sit still very long for us to feed her like she used to. She still opens her mouth wide for food when we feed her, but she has grown tired of being fed. So, she is one happy baby when we give her something to hold and eat herself!

Look at those thunder thighs! Aren't they cute? We work out in the mornings...

Teething Bites

Ok, so I'm not sure if Mikah caught a cold or if the THREE top teeth coming in did her in,
but we had a sad, sick little girl for the past few days. It was her first time being sick,
and Jonathan's first time being thrown up on....twice. Bummer for him.
Guess I got lucky on that one. My time will come. All that to say, I think teething really sucks.
Why can't babies just be born with their teeth already anyway?

Riverside and the Mission Inn

The day after Christmas we met up with Renee, Shawn, Andy and Alisa and had dinner and walked around Riverside's Mission Inn. The lights were gorgeous and we enjoyed listening to Christmas carols, drinking coffee, and hanging out with friends. It was cold, though!
Some weirdos jumped in the back of our picture....

More Christmas Photos

Here is our Christmas Tree this year. We went artificial...I know Jonathan was bummed. He likes the smell of real trees. However, it worked out.
Mom, here is a blurry one for you, but still cute, nonetheless.

Mikah loved her stocking that Dianne made her!

We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, and best wished for a wonderful, blessed new year!
